SOLUTION: find the slope of the line
y= -3x + 2
I am not sure if I get this
This is what I got for another problem
3y + 2x - 6 = 0
using the slope formula, I came to the conclutio

Question 55138: find the slope of the line
y= -3x + 2
I am not sure if I get this
This is what I got for another problem
3y + 2x - 6 = 0
using the slope formula, I came to the conclution that the slope of this line is -2/3 is this right?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! find the slope of the line
y= -3x + 2
y=mx+b (the "m" term represents the slope)
slope = -3
.
.
3y + 2x - 6 = 0 [solve for y]
3y=-2x+6
3y/3=-2x/3+6/3
y=(-2/3)x+2
y=-2/3x+2
So, the slope is -2/3
