Hi Ashley,
You have a typing error.
2x - 37 = 12...7 is really close to y, so I think you meant:
2x-3y=12
:
To find the y intercept let x=0 and solve for y.
2(0)-3y=12
0-3y=12
-3y/-3=12/-3
y=-4
Plot (0,-4)
To find the x intercept let y=0 and solve for x:
2x-3(0)=12
2x-0=12
2x=12
2x/2=12/2
x=6
Plot (6,0)
Connect the dots and you have a line that should look like this:
