Question 545644: The number of gallons, g, in a circular swimming pool varies jointly with the square of the radius,r and the depth,d. If g=754 gallons when r=4ft and d=2ft, then find the number of gallons in the pool when r=3ft and d=1.5 ft.
I have tried to solve this equation but i just cant seem to understand how to do it.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The number of gallons, g, in a circular swimming pool varies jointly with the square of the radius,r and the depth,d. If g=754 gallons when r=4ft and d=2ft, then find the number of gallons in the pool when r=3ft and d=1.5 ft.
-----------------
Vol = 754*(3/4)^2(1.5/2)
Vol = 318 gallons
