You can put this solution on YOUR website! You may not know it but this problem gives us two points here. And what can we do with two points? We can find the slope.
By definition, an x-intercept is where the function crosses the x-axis. Thus our y-value is constrained to only 0.
Similarly, a y-intercept is where the function crosses the x-axis. And x can only be 0.
So our two points are (12,0) and (0,14)

-12
-7/6 is our slope.
We have a slope and we have a y-intercept. So let's put this in slope intercept form.
y = -7/6x + 14 <---- answer
