Question 4736: Find the inverse of the given function. f(x) = squareroot of (x-10).
Is there a solver for inverse functions?
Thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f%28x%29+=+sqrt+%28x-10%29+ or
+y+=+sqrt+%28x+-+10%29+

To find the inverse function,
STEP 1: interchange the x and y, and
STEP 2: solve for y.

STEP 1: x+=+sqrt+%28y+-10%29+

STEP 2: Square both sides:
x%5E2+=+y-+10+

Add 10 to each side:
x%5E2+%2B+10+=+y

This y+=+x%5E2+%2B+10+ is the inverse function
So, f%5E%28-1%29+=+x%5E2+%2B+10+
