Question 462012: I am horribly confused when it comes to algebra. I can graph liner equations, but I am confused as to how to obtain ordered pairs so I can plot the points
Example: y=3/5x+2. How do I determine what numbers to use to calculate a ordered pair.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can choose any value you want for x. Then take that number and substitute it in for x in the equation. Solve for y. Those the coordinates for your ordered pair.
for example, let's choose x=5.
y=%283%2F5%29%2A5%2B2%29
y=3%2B2=5
So the ordered pair is (5,5)
