Question 459781: One angle in a triangle is half the largest angle but three times the smallest. Find all three angles.
Using the guess and check method, I found that the angles would be 108-18-54, however I don't know how to set that up using algebra.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! One angle in a triangle is half the largest angle but three times the smallest. Find all three angles.
----------------
Let the smallest angle be "x".
Another angle is "3x"
Largest is 2*3x = "6x"
----
Equation:
x + 3x + 6x = 180
10x = 180
x = 18 degrees
3x = 54 degrees
6x = 108 degrees
--------------------------------------
