1) make sure your equation is in slope intercept form y=mx+b
the # before the x is your slope and the b is your y- intercept
2) y=3.4-6 This would make your slope 3.4 and your y intercept would be (0,-6)
3) to graph this equation you would start with the y intercept. Place a dot on (0,-6) then you are going to rise 3.4 and run 1. This will give you a line.
