You can put this solution on YOUR website! solve a problem like X+Y=7 and 3X-y=5 how do i solve it then graph it please help thank you
======
x+y = 7
3x-y = 5
----
Solve the 2nd equation for "y":
y = 3x-5
----
Substitute into the 1st equation and solve for "x":
x + 3x-5 = 7
4x = 12
x = 3
------
Solve for "y":
y = 3x-5
y = 3*3-5
y = 4

You can put this solution on YOUR website! These are 2 straight lines. In order to graph them, all you need is
2 points for each equations.
The easiest way (usually) to find 2 points is to find the intercepts
that is, (x,0) and (0,y) , the x-intercept and the y-intercept.

find (x,0)

so, the x-intercept is (7,0)
-------------
find (0,y)

the y-intercept is (0,7)
--------------
Now you have 2 points, (7,0) and (0,7)
Do the exact same thing with the other equation
to get (x,0) and (0,y)
