You can put this solution on YOUR website!
slope intercept form is: y=mx+b, m is slope and b is the y intercept
Substitute: 9 for y, -6 for x, and 6 for m. Then solve for b.
9=6%28-6%29%2Bb
9=-36%2Bb
45=b add 36 to both sides.
y=6x%2B45

Hi

y = 6x + b |using ordered pair pt(-6,9) to solve for b
9 = -36 + b
45 = b
y = 6x + 45
