To find the x intercept you let y=0 and solve for x, and
to find the y intercept let x=0 and solve for y.

in your case y=c and x=j
-the x intercept:
let c=0%7D%7D%0D%0A%0D%0A%7B%7B%7B0=j%2B1
-1=j...or j=-1
so, the x intercept is (-1,0)

-the y intercept:
let j=0%7D%7D%0D%0A%0D%0A%7B%7B%7Bc=0%2B1
c=1
so, the y intercept is (0,1)
