Hi,
Note: the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y=-8/5x-9/8 This is in the slope-intercept form
m = -(8/5)
Y-intercept is (0, -(9/8)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The equation is in the form y+=+mx+%2B+b where m
is the slope. Therefore the slope is
m+=+-8%2F5
The y-intercept occurs where x+=+0
y+=+%28-8%2F5%29%2Ax+-+9%2F8
y+=+%28-8%2F5%29%2A0+-+9%2F8
y+=+-9%2F8
The y-intercept is at (0,-9/8)
