multiply through by -1

Substitute this into the first equation
+4x+-+12y+=+5+

Distribute
+12y+%2B+4+-+12y+=+5+
Combine like terms
+4+=+5+
This is false so there is NO soulution. In otherwords these two lines are parallel to one another.
