y-y1=m%28x-x1%29 where m is the given slope and (x1,y1) is the given point. So plug in the values given
y-1=6%28x-5%29 now you can distribute the 6
y-1=6x-30 then add 1 to both sides
y=6x-29 this is the equation of a line in slope intercept form which has a slope of m = 6 and passes through a point (5, 1).
