Hi,
*Note: the slope tells us alot about the points on the line.
.
In general the slope tells us how y changes as x changes.
m = (2/3) tells us that y increases by 2 as x increases by 3.
.
Pt(0,1) is on the line.
Pt(3,3) is on the line
Pt(6,5) is on the line

-------------
(0,1) is the y-intercept, b
That makes the eqn y = (2/3)x + 1, or
y = 2x/3 + 1
x = 3, y = 3 --> (3,3)
x = 6, y = 5 --> (6,5)
x = 300, y = 201 --> (300,201)
etc
