Question 34167: How do you find the solution of system to an equation?
Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! A "solution" to one equation really means "where does it cross the x-axis, if anywhere". By this we mean what are the value(s) of x when y=0, since y=0 is the definition of the x-axis.
A "solution" to 2 or more equations means where do they cross each other ie where do they have the same value.
As to methods of solving, it all depends upon the nature of the equation you have, as each can have different approaches to help you solve it.
