Question 33933: This is a word problem i do not understand how i figure this out please help sorry for the short notice but it is due in tomorrow which is Tuesday April 18, this question was not in the text book it was a peanuts comic strip with a word problem the teacher gave me..
A man has a daughter and a son.. The son is three years older than the daughter..
In one year the man will be six times as old as the daughter is now, and in ten years he will be fourteen years older than the combined ages of his children now..
What is the present age of the man..
