-X+6Y=7 OR -X=7-6Y OR X=6Y-7 SUBSTITUTING (6Y-7) FOR X IN THE FIRST EQUATION WE GET 3(6Y-7)-2Y=11 OR 18Y-21-2Y=11 OR 16Y=32 OR Y=32/16 OR Y=2 THEN
X=6*2-7 OR X=12-7 OR X=5
PROOF 3*5-2*2-11 OR 15-4=11 OR 11=11 &
-5+6*2=7 OR -5+12=7 OR 7=7

THE GIVEN EQUATIONS ARE
3x -2y =11
-x +6y = 7
to find the variables x & y,
try to make any one of the co-efficients of x or y as same but with opposite sign.(to make x co-efficients the same,multiply the second equation by 3)
therefore we get ,
3x -2y = 11
-3x + 18y = 21
TO solve,add the equations ,
we get 16y = 32 (3x-3x get cancelled)
y= 32/16
= 2.
put y= 2 in first equation,
we get,
3x -2(2) = 11
3x = 11 +4
x = 15/3
= 5.
the values are x = 5,y = 2.
