ok well x-14=3(x+2)
.:x-14=3x+6
.:2x=-20
.:x=-10
ok so
1.)simplify 3(x+2)
2.)-x and -6 on both sides
3.)divide both sides by 2
check:
-10-14=3(-10+2)
-24=-24:)
