Undefined slope through (-1,4)?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! How do I find the equation for:
Undefined slope through (-1,4)?
slope is rise over run or (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
in slope-intercept form of y = mx + b, the slope is m and the y-intercept point is (0,b)
if slope is positive then the line rises upward from left to right
if slope is negative then the line falls downward from left to right
if slope is zero then the line is horizontal, since there is no rise
if the slope is undefined, in other words infinite), then the line is vertical, since there is no run
so a vertical line passing through (-1,4) is x = -1
Answer by QH(50) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Undefined slope is a vertical line.
Because you know it's vertical, all you need in your equation is the point on the x-axis for it to intersect.
