Question 32065: this is a question from worksheet pg.478 Glencoe Alebra 1.8-4 Enrichment.
For each of the following polynomial functions, make a table of values for x and y =f(x). Then draw a graph on the grid. The first polynomial funtion is,
f(x)=1-x square. I can do the graph but I have no Idea on how to get the table.
You can put this solution on YOUR website! To make a table of values for the function, you assign any value you want to the independent variable,x, and then you work out the corresponding value of dependent variable, y. The table will look like this:
x...(1-x^2)...y
---------------
0....1-0......1
1....1-1......0
2....1-4.....-3
-1...1-1......0
-2...1-4.....-3
You can put in as many points for x as you wish.
