Question 314493: Solve for t: (2t+1)squared = 1/4(4t-1)squared.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Sorry your answer is wrong. Consider this:
(2t+1)Squared = (1/4)(4t-1)squared.
So by simplifying it, it would be:
4t Sqrd + 4t + 1 = t Sqrd - 2t +(1/4)
There are like terms, so subtract them on either side to make the equation equal Zero, so like this:
3t Sqrd + 6t + (3/4) = 0
Now you may use the quadratic formula ( the quadratic formula may be used only if you have a equation like this : A Sqrd + B + 1 = 0 ) note, the 1 is the C.
The formula goes like this:
By plugging it in, you should get the answer:
You can simplify that to get a decimal if you want.
