You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How is 10/-8 equal to 8?
You were good up to 10/-8

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You were doing fine all the way to 10%2F%28-8%29
Then you said that was = 8. But it was equal to -5%2F4, not 8!

What is the slope of the line that passes through each pair of points: (3, -8), (-5,2)

m=%28y%5B2%5D-y%5B1%5D%29%2F%28x%5B2%5D-x%5B1%5D%29
m=%28%282%29-%28-8%29%29%2F%28%28-5%29-%283%29%29
m=%282%2B8%29%2F%28-5-3%29
m=%2810%29%2F%28-8%29
m=-10%2F8
That reduces to
m=-5%2F4
