The Functions charge $275 plus $ 1.75 fir each ticket sold.
Write linear equations representing the costs of each band. Be sure to indicate what the variables stand for.

I want to plot money on the vertical axis and tickets
sold on the horizontal axis.
Let = the cost of each band
Let = the number of tickets sold by each band
For band #1:

Notice that if , or no tickets sold, band #1
still makes $340 and band #2 still makes $275
Here is a polot of the 2 lines:
It looks like the 2nd band is cheaper until about 260 tickets are sold
then the 1st band is cheaper.
