2x+3y=9
3y = -2x + 9
y = -2/3x+3
.
EQ.2.
3x-2y=8
-2y = -3x+8
y = 3/2x+4
.
Since slope of EQ.1 is -2/3, a perpendicular line will have a negative reciprocal slope, which is 3/2.
EQ.2 has that slope, so they are perpendicular.
