You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find an equation of the line that has a y-intercept of 2 that is parallel to the graph of the line 4x+2y=8
----
The given line has slope -2 because
2y = -4x + 8
y = -2x + 4
------------------
intercept is 2
------------------------------
So Equation is y = -2x+2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x%2B2y=8 put this in y-intersept form
2y=8-4x
y=4-2x since this line is paralel that means they have the same slope of -2
so the line we are looking for is
highlight%28y=-2x%2B2%29 where -2 is the slope and 2 is the y-intercept
