You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 5x + 2
Gradient is 5 (every 1 added to the x creates 5 in the y direction)
When x = 0, y = 2
when y = 0, x = -2/5

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We start with
(i) y+=+5x%2B2
This is similar to
(ii) y+=+mx+%2B+b
matching up the 2 we get
slope = m = 5.
--
If we were to graph this, it would be a line.
vertical intercept = do you mean x-intercept?
horizontal intercept = do you mean y-intercept?
--
X-intercept is when y = 0. If y = 0, then
0+=+5x+%2B+2
-2+=+5x
%28-2%2F5%29+=+x
--
Y-intercept is when x = 0. If x = 0, then
y+=+5%2A0+%2B+2
y+=+2
