You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do I graph the equation using the slope and the y-intercept
y = 9/7x + 8
------------------
The intercept is 8 so put a point at (0,8) on the y-axis.
------------------
The slope is 9/7 which means y increases 9 when x increases 7.
--------------------
Put your pencil at (0,8)
Move it 7 to the right to (7,8)
Then move it 9 up to (7,17).
Put a point at (7,17)
Draw a line thru (0,8) and (7,17)
That is your graph.
