You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First find the slope:
m=%28y1-y2%29%2F%28x1-x2%29
m=%283-5%29%2F%282-3%29
m=-2%2F-1=2
So, our slope is 2.
Then we can plug this into our fun equation:
%28y-y1%29=m%28x-x1%29
%28y-3%29=2%28x-2%29
Simplifying:
y-3=2x-4
Add 3 to both sides to move it over:
y-3%2B3=2x-4%2B3
y=2x-1, which is our answer.
