You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%285y%2B6%29-%283%2B4y%29=10

5y%2B6-3-4y=10

%285y-4y%29%2B%286-3%29=10

y%2B3=10

Subtract 3 from both sides to get y

y%2B3-3=10-3

y=7

Check if y=7 is solution to original equation %285y%2B6%29-%283%2B4y%29=10+or+%285%2A7%2B6%29-%283%2B4%2A7%29=41-31=10 which is a true statement.

Answer is y=7.

I hope the above steps and explanation were helpful.
