Question 218431: a phone call between two cities cost $10.89 for 100 minutes. What is the rate per cent per minute?
Answer by drj(1380) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! A phone call between two cities cost $10.89 for 100 minutes. What is the rate per cent per minute?
One way to solve this problem is to look at the units. So for this example, we want the cost/minute. Then
$18.89/100 minutes= $0.1890/minute=18.89 cents/minute.
I hope the above steps were helpful.
