You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First find the slope of 2x-5y=12
Sove for y:
-5y = -2x + 12

y+=+%28-2x%29%2F%28-5%29+%2B+12%2F%28-5%29
y=%282%2F5%29x+-12%2F5

The slope is 2/5.

Next find the y-intercept of 4y+24=5x
Let x = 0, and 4y+24=0
4y=-24
y=-6

The equation with slope 2/5 and y intercept y=-6 will be
Y=%282%2F5%29x+-6.
