m=8-2/5-(-7)= 6/-12 = m= 1/2 good start.
Y=mX+b is the line equation where m=slop & b=the y intercept.
Now select one set of x,y values & solve for b.
2=-1/2*7+b
2=-3.5+b
b=2+3.5
b=5.5 ans. for the y intercept.
Y=X/2+5.5
