You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Given: system%283Y=2X%2B6%28EQN1%29%2CY=2x-6%28EQN2%29%29

Just substitute EQN2 in EQN1:
3%2Ahighlight%282x-6%29=2x%2B6
6x-18=2x%2B6, Combine similar terms
6x-2x=18%2B6
4x=24 -----> cross%284%29x%2Fcross%284%29=cross%2824%296%2Fcross%284%29 ---> red%28x=6%29, subst. in EQN2:
y=2%2Ahighlight%28%286%29%29-6=12-6=red%286%29
These two lines intersect at point (6,6)

Now, remember Slope-Intercept Form, y=mx%2Bb, we arrange given line Eqns to this form:
In EQN1, 3y=2x%2B6 ---> cross%283%29y%2Fcross%283%29=%282x%2B6%29%2F3=%282%2F3%29x%2B6%2F3
red%28y=%282%2F3%29x%2B2%29, wheresystem%28m=2%2F3%2CyIntercept=b=2%29
Let fy=o ----> o=%282%2F3%29x%2B2 ----> %282%2F3%29x=%28-2%29 --->2x=%28-2%29%283%29=%28-6%29, divide both by 2
red%28x=-3%29, X-Intercept
Let fx=0 ----> y=%282%2F3%29%280%29%2B2=red%282%29, Y-Intercept

In EQN2, -----> red%28y=2x-6%29, wheresystem%28m=2%2Cb=%28-6%29%29
Let fy=o ----> 0=2x-6 ---->2x=6, divide both by 2:
red%28x=3%29, X-Intercept
Let fx=o ----> y=2%280%29-6=red%28-6%29, Y -Intercept

We'll see graph,
----> RED,EQN1; GREEN, EQN2
Thank you,
