You can put this solution on YOUR website!
this is how:
(exp.)
y=5x+2
8x+5y=47
So you know what y equals, so plug that in to the lower equation:
8x + 5(5x+2)=47
8x+25x+10=47
Combine like terms:
33x +10=47
Subtract from both sides
33x=37
x=1 4/33
So plug in X to the first equation:
y=5(1 4/33) + 2
y=7.61
So the answer is: (1 4/33, 7.61)
I picked bad numbers, sorry! The answer is a rough estimate. But you just need to get Y alone, plug it in, solve for x, put x back in to the first equation, and find y, then write an ordered pair
