The graph of a linear eqn is a straight line, so only 2 points are needed. You plot 2 points, then draw a straight line thru them.
EG: x+y = 6
You pick a value of x and find y, or vice versa.
at x = 0, y = 6 --> (0,6)
at y = 0, x = 6 --> (6,0)
Draw a line thru them.
