You can put this solution on YOUR website!

x=+6-4y,---------->EQN 1 y=%28-x%2B6%29%2F4
2x-3y=1,---------->EQN 2 y=%282x-1%29%2F3
Substitute EQN 1 in EQN 2:
2%2Ahighlight%286-4y%29-3y=1
12-8y-3y=1
12-1=8y%2B3y
11=11y---->cross%2811%291%2Fcross%2811%291=cross%2811%29y%2Fcross%2811%29
highlight%28y=1%29, subst. in EQn 1
X=6-4%281%29=6-4
highlight%28x=2%29
When we graph the eqn's, the point of intersection will be (2,1):
-----> RED, EQN 1; GREEN, EQN 2
