Question 178788: in these two equations,
f(x) + 9.0 - x
h(x) + -14 + 70
how do i identify the slope, m, and the vertical intercept, b?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The slope, m, is always the number paired with "x" or the variable.
The vertical intercept or y-intercept, b, is the number NOT paired with the variable.
I'm not sure the second equation is in the proper slope-intercept form, but the slope for the first equation is one and the vertical intercept is 9.0.
