If c is the hypotenuse, and a and b are the legs of the triangle, c=sqrt%28a%5E2+%2B+b%5E2%29. Just substitute the values and do the arithmetic. Remember to round to the nearest tenth as instructed.

then
10^2 + 24^2 = h^2
100 + 576 = h^2
676 = h^2
26 = h
