Question 174825: How do you find the y-intercept-b?
Answer by actuary(112) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Manipulate, using allowable algebraic operations, the linear equation that you are working with so that it is in the form y + m*x + b.
"m" is the slope of the line and "b" is the y-intercept. The y-intercept is the value for y when x = 0. It may be positive or negative.
I hope that this helps.
