You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y%2B3=-3%28x-6%29 Start with the given equation

y%2B3=-3x%2B%28-3%29%28-6%29 Distribute

y%2B3=-3x%2B18 Multiply -3 and -6 to get 18

y=-3x%2B18-3 Subtract 3 from both sides to isolate y

y=-3x%2B15 Combine like terms 18 and -3 to get 15

Now the equation is in slope-intercept form y=mx%2Bb where the slope is m=-3 and the y-intercept is b=15 note: the y-intercept is the point (0,15)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
write equation in slope-intercept form:
y+3=-3(x-6)
y = -3x + 18 -3
y = -3x + 15
-----------------
slope = -3
intercept = 15
