-2.8x+8.4<-14x-2.8
add 14x to and subtract 8.4 from both sides
-2.8x+8.4-8.4+14x<-14x+14x-2.8-8.4 collect like terms
11.2x<-11.2 divide each side by 11.2
x<-1
