Question 153649: Complete each ordered pair so that it is a solution of the given linear equation. Then, choose which graph represents the given linear equation. The linear equation is -3x+5y=-15.
They gave us the following as the ordered pairs: (0, ); ( ,5);( ,-9). I figured out the missing numbers so the ordered pairs look like this: (0,-3);(5,0) and
(-20,-9). I can't figure out how to graph the linear equation: -3x+5y=-15.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Two of your points are correct.
(x,-9) is incorrect.
-3x%2B5%28-9%29=-15
-3x-45=-15
-3x=30
x=-10
(-10,-9)

.
Plot the points on a graph and connect the points.
For a line, you only need two points.
We'll use your first two points:(0,-3) and (5,0)

Then draw the line connecting the points.
As you can see (-10,-9) is also on the line.
