Question 133492: what is slpoe intercept form mean?
Answer by vleith(2983) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! There are three forms for the equation of a line.
1) Standard form ax + by = c (where a,b,c are constants)
2) Slope intercept form y = mx+ b (where m is the slope and b i s y intercept)
3 Point slope form m = (Y1 - y)/(X1 - x) (where m is the slope and (X1,Y1) is a point on the line.
You are looking for lines given in the form shown in 2
