You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3(4x+2)= 2(1x+5)+8,
distribute the 3 and the 2;
12x+6=2x+10+8
subtract 6 and 2x from each side;
12x-2x=10+8-6
10x=12
divide each side by 10;
x=12/10
