You can put this solution on YOUR website! the answer is 7/12*117. why?
he checked 12, and 7 were infected. instead of checking all the rest, we can assume that the same proportion of all the computers are infected. the proportion is 7 out of 12, or 7/12. 7 twelfths of 117 is 7/12*117.
