Question 127727: Y-2X=0 Get ordered pairs to Graph

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y-2X=0
We can put this into the slope-intercept form to get the slope and y-intercept to determine two ordered pairs.
First we need to convert the equation into slope intercept form
Add 2x to both sides y=2x-2x=0%2B2x
Result y=2x%2B0
Now we have the slope (2) and the y intercept point (0,0)
We can graph the point (0,0) (the y intercept), and follow up with the slope to reach our next ordered pair.

To find the next point from the y intercept, follow up 2 units and to the right 1 unit, which would put us at (1,2)
So your two ordered pairs would be (0,0) and (1,2). There are other ordered pairs will satisfy the equation, they lie on the line shown in the graph below
