You can put this solution on YOUR website!
change existing line to slope-intercept __ y=(-1/2)x+3/2 __ slope is -1/2

if lines are perpendicular, their slopes are negative reciprocals
__ so slope of new line is 2

using point slope __ y-4=2(x+3)

changing to slope-intercept __ y=2x+10
