You can put this solution on YOUR website!

z=+%28x-8%29%2F+%282x%29

z=+x%2F%282x%29-8%2F+%282x%29

z=+1%2F2-4%2Fx

4%2Fx=+1%2F2-z

4%2Fx=+1%2F2-2z%2F2

4%2Fx=+%281-2z%29%2F2....cross multiply

8=+x%281-2z%29

x=8%2F%281-2z%29

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
start with z = (x-8)/2x
multiply both sides of the equation by 2x to get:
2xz = x-8
subtract x from both sides of the equation to get:
2xz - x = -8
factor out the x on the left side of the equation to get:
x * (2z-1) = -8
divide both sides of the equation by (2z-1) to get:
x = -8/(2z-1)
that's your solution.

to confirm, take any random value for x and solve for z in z = (x-8)/(2x).
i used x = 3000.
you will get z = .4986666667.
now, take z = .4986666667 and solve for x in x = -8/(2z-1) to get z = 3000.
this confirms the equation for x is good.

your original equation was z = (x-8)/2x.
your solution is x = -8/(2z-1).

Hey, from your post (actually, from BOTH your posts), I see that you are not able to write mathematical problems properly.

You should use PARENTHESES to show which part of the formula is the numerator and which is the denominator, like this

z = (x-8)/(2x).

Then everything is clear and we can work with it.

Otherwise, we only can guess what do you want.

It is an elementary mathematical grammar, by the way.
