You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y=mX+b WHERE (m=SLOPE) & (b=Y INTERCEPT)
SLOPE=(Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)
SLOPE=(0+2)/(1-0)=2/1=2
NOW USE ONE SET OF (X,Y) VALUES & THE SLOPE(m) & SOLVE FOR b.
-2=0X+b
-2=b
B=-2 FOR THE Y INTERCEPT.
THUS THE LINE EQUATION IF:
Y=2X-2

y=(0,-2) and x =(1,0)

It is given that x = (1, 0) and y = (0, -2)

So the equation of the line between these 2 points is given by:

(1, 0) & (0, -2)

The equation joining these 2 points is given by:

%28y%2F-2%29+=+%28x+-+1%29%2F-1

y+=+2x+-+2

y = 2x - 2

y - 2x + 2 = 0

Hence, the solution.
